Fitness is my passion.  It has been since I was in high school.  I have always struggled with my weight.  I do not have the gift of a high metabolism.  My passion for fitness steered me to a degree as a Dietician in 1991, but my entrepreneurial spirit took my career in another direction.  I became an Independent Distributor with Premier Designs Jewelry while still in college (1990).  I quickly became an area leader and developed an income that allowed me to work from my home and not have to pursue a job outside of the home.

I married my high school sweetheart (Keith) after dating him for 9 years.  After 1year of marriage, we moved from Memphis, TN to Nashville, TN and I promptly gained weight as I was more focused on my business and less on my health.  I played around at the gym for years, but in 1995, I got serious about my fitness and began my fitness journey with a Certified Trainer.  My husband and I decided that my fitness was worth paying attention to, and worth paying for.  In school, I learned the “book side of diet” but through working out with Certified Trainers, I have learned the “experiential side of diet” and how it impacts the body.

Over the past 15 years, I can personally attest to results of utilizing a personal trainer to assist you in hitting your fitness goals.  I am now at the point in my life that I can help others in their pursuit.  After dealing with a miscarriage and 3 years of infertility, God blessed us with 2 wonderful children (Dalton - 10 years old & Gracie - 9 years old).  God had laid on both Keith and my heart that I would be a stay at home mom for our kids.  They are now of the age that I can pursue that which I am passionate about, fitness for myself and others.

My husband turned 40 in 2006 and decided that he wanted to run a half marathon and needed a running partner so I agreed to train with him.  He completed that one, but it lit a fire in me that is still burning bright.  I love working running into my weekly cardio training.

I am a lifelong student of fitness, diet, and spiritual development.  The most important relationship I have is the one with my Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.  I believe that you must nurture your soul, body & mind daily.  My family attends Gateway Church in Southlake.
